A roof replacement is loud, fast-moving work on top of everything you own. We plan dumpster placement and material delivery with you before work starts, cover landscaping with tarps, and run magnetic sweeps for nails when the work is complete. Warranty

Every roof replacement comes with our 5-year workmanship warranty. If a leak is caused by a defect in our workmanship during those five years, we repair it at our expense. The warranty transfers to the first new owner if you sell your home; just let us know in writing within 30 days of the sale.

The workmanship warranty covers how the roof was installed. Storm damage such as hail or high winds, work done on the roof later by other trades, and the other exclusions listed in the warranty are not covered. Storm damage is usually an insurance matter, and we can help you with that claim.

On a GAF Timberline HDZ roof, GAF's manufacturer warranty adds its own protection, including lifetime limited coverage for manufacturing defects, 15 years of wind coverage and 25 years of algae protection. GAF's warranty documents set the exact terms for your roof.

Certificate of Roof Replacement

When your new roof is finished, you receive a Certificate of Roof Replacement. It records the manufacturer, shingle line and color, the wind and impact ratings, the manufacturer warranty, our 5-year workmanship warranty and the completion date. It is useful for your insurance company and when you sell your home.
